Inter-School Mathematics Olympiad

This project aims to organize a mathematics competition for students in 7th and 8th grade (Basic Education) and 9th through 12th grade (Secondary Education) from all types of schools—private, subsidized, and public—in Chile’s Bío-Bío and Ñuble regions. The competition seeks to stimulate students’ interest in mathematics, encouraging deeper learning, broadening their scientific and cultural perspectives, and improving their performance on national standardized tests. By engaging in challenging problem-solving, participants develop critical thinking skills while fostering a greater appreciation for mathematics. Webpage .

The Training Seminar in Mathematics was designed to support high school teachers in the Bío-Bío and Ñuble regions. The seminar provided content updates in mathematics, programming and related topics, while also collecting feedback on future training needs through a focus group session. Webpage .
